Where will you hang your wall portrait or collage?
We can do several outfit changes during the session. Plan on starting with the one that’s most important.
Relax and have fun!
Feed your baby just before the session so that they are sleeping.
I love naked baby images, modest of course! If you have a special outfit, blanket, or toy, I would love to include them in some of the images.
For older babies
This age is about expression and their fascination with the world around them. Hats are great props and since they are older, clothes fit better now.
Since toddlers will not stay put, this will be a very active session! While my images have a natural, unposed look, some planning is involved with every image. So be prepared to “corral” them as we keep them entertained during the session!
Allow them to show their personality! This can be done in the choice of clothing or by showing things in the photographs that they are interested in, such as sports or hobbies.
Let them have as much input as possible on these choices so they are invested in the session.
Everyone should wear clothes that coordinate. For a more formal portrait, solid colors are best. Stripes and prints give a more casual look.
